You know when a communication method has made it when it is used to fire people or too resign. I’m old enough to remember when that was true about faxing and then texting, and now Twitter has made the big time.
Earlier this month, Jonathan Schwartz, the chief executive of Sun Microsystems made history by becoming the first Fortune 200 boss to tweet his resignation. Oracle had just completed its purchase of Sun and Jonathan went out in style, tweeting a haiku:
